We believe that philosophy is not just for adults but can also be a valuable tool for children to navigate their lives and make sense of the world. In this class, we aim to create a safe and inclusive space for children to explore their thoughts, ideas, and questions about the world around them.
We use picture books as a springboard to facilitate philosophical discussions with children. Using these carefully selected picture books, we encourage children to think critically and creatively about various philosophical concepts such as fairness, justice, truth, and happiness.
By reading and discussing stories together, we encourage children to ask questions, consider different perspectives, and develop their own ideas and opinions. Our goal is to help children develop their reasoning skills, empathy, and confidence in expressing their own thoughts and opinions. We also want to create a safe and inclusive space where children can explore the complexities of the world with curiosity and open-mindedness.
Our Philosophy for Children class is designed to encourage young minds to think critically and creatively. We believe that introducing children to philosophical concepts at an early age can help them develop strong problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Join us in our Philosophy for Children class and let's embark on a journey of curiosity, wonder and discovery together! Check in with us for updated class schedules.
